Families Without Fathers is a California-based non-profit public benefit corporation with offices in California and Washington state. It is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit as designated by the IRS. Mission: Families Without Fathers is a non-profit organization that aids and assists women and their children who have suffered the devastating impact of an unexpected and untimely loss of a father or step-father.

Why Families Without Fathers? 
Every year, countless families lose a father, and current estimates show that approximately 3 million families in the United States are families who have suffered the sudden and unexpected loss of their father.  Compounding this, research supports that the devastating impact of losing a father can have a negative lifetime effect on the individuals and their communities. Therefore, by helping families in their greatest time of need, Families Without Fathers works to help families and heal families.
